The Undergraduate Training Program at Fakih IVF is a structured academic training component delivered in partnership with affiliated institutions as part of the required curriculum for undergraduate students in relevant healthcare disciplines.
The program provides supervised clinical training within a leading fertility care environment, allowing students to gain exposure to reproductive medicine and assisted reproductive technology (ART).

Eligibility Criteria
General Requirements
- Aged 18 years and above
- University student enrolled in an accredited Health Profession Institution (Medical School / Nursing School / Allied Health)
- Interest in the Reproductive Medicine specialty
- Must submit a Permission Letter from the applicant's Medical School (format provided by FIVF Group's Medical Education Department)

Application Process
The application form is the official and only means to apply to the Undergraduate Training Program. All application forms should be duly filled and submitted by email to academics.auh@fakihivf.com

| Application Deadline | Applications must be submitted at least 4–6 weeks prior to the requested start date. |
| Application Review | The Medical Education Program Department forwards applications to the Training Program Director for review. The Program Director, in consultation with HR, decides on acceptance/rejection. |
| Course Fee Payment | Applicant will be notified within 7 working days. If selected, they will be prompted to pay the course/program fee (550 AED per week). |
| Selection Criteria | UAE Nationals: No minimum GPA. Non-UAE Nationals (UAE school): min 2.5 GPA/75%. International: min 3.0 GPA/80%. |
| Acceptance | Applicant receives Training Plan, schedule, and joining instructions 1 week prior to start of training. |
| Training Start Date | Subject to Program Director approval. Start date should always be a Monday. |
| Completion | Trainee is evaluated by supervisors at program end. A letter of completion is issued by the Fakih IVF Medical Education Program Director. |
Program Delivery
The Undergraduate Training Program is delivered through a structured combination of supervised clinical training, multidisciplinary exposure, and guided academic learning. Students gain experience in reproductive medicine through supervised participation in clinical activities, alongside faculty-led teaching sessions and case-based discussions.

- Exposure to clinical activities alongside consultants, embryologists, fellows, and healthcare professionals
- Outpatient clinics, inpatient care, and multidisciplinary team rounds
- Operating theatre exposure and selected procedural participation under supervision
- Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and IVF laboratory workflows
- Andrology laboratory processes and techniques

Regular lectures by faculty, visiting experts, and senior trainees covering reproductive anatomy, fertility pathology, diagnostic imaging, laboratory techniques, and more.

Discussions of interesting and complex clinical cases encouraging collaborative learning and evidence-based decision-making.
Grand Rounds
Multidisciplinary discussion promoting critical thinking through the review of real patient cases and management approaches.
Journal Clubs
Review and discussion of recent scientific literature, developing skills in critical appraisal and evidence-based practice.
Skills Labs
Observational exposure to key surgical and laboratory techniques used in reproductive medicine and ART.
Assessments & Evaluations
At the end of the Undergraduate Training Program, participants undergo a structured evaluation to assess overall learning, knowledge gained, and engagement throughout the program. This assessment is conducted by the Program Director or assigned mentor.

Timing of Evaluations
Evaluations are conducted at the end of the training period. For programs involving multiple rotations, assessments may also be completed at the end of each rotation to ensure continuous feedback.
Educational Project
Participants may be required to complete a short educational project related to their area of observation. This may include a case presentation or a topic review based on program content. The project may be submitted or presented upon completion of the program.
